Built in 1940 by United Artists, the Del Oro has been a Grass Valley icon for generations. The stunning Art Deco architecture and illuminated 70-foot tower give patrons a sense of going back in time to the Golden Days of the movies. But there’s nothing old-fashioned about this theatre. Brand new seats, state-of-the-art sound system, digital 3-D projection and big screen make this theatre a local favorite. The Del Oro has 3 screens and shows all genres of films, from blockbusters to sleeper hits.
