Built in 1940 by United Artists, the Del Oro has been a Grass Valley icon for generations.  The stunning Art Deco architecture and newly re-illuminated 70-foot tower give patrons a sense of going back in time to the Golden Days of the movies.  But there’s nothing old-fashioned about this theatre.  Brand new seats, state-of-the-art sound system and big screen make this theatre a local favorite.   The Del Oro has 3 screens and shows all genres of films, from blockbusters to sleeper hits.   Check out our popular Midnight Movie series.  For schedule and details, click on "Midnight Movies" in left side panel.  And remember, all shows starting before 6:00 pm are only $6.00.
